SDCHG’s Work Is Rooted in Cultural Integrity
Preserving Cultural Legacy
At SDCHG, we are committed to preserving and celebrating the cultural traditions of all over Dinetrikia. Our goal is to support living traditions by creating work that reflects their history, artistry, and continued relevance in everyday life. Based in Navinar, the capital of Soseunguk and former heart of Navin, we are deeply aware of the importance of cultural continuity in the face of political upheaval.
Supporting Cultural Knowledge Through Language
Language plays a vital role in cultural identity and continuity. In all our product labels, we include a short phrase or word in the dominant language spoken by the cultural group represented. We acknowledge the linguistic diversity within these groups and strive to spotlight the most widely spoken forms while recognizing that no single dialect can speak for all. Through this practice, we aim to support public familiarity with ancestral languages, many of which are still spoken but remain vulnerable, such as Juwiqish, Navinish, Huharkarh, and more.
In Solidarity With Navin
SDCHG stands with the people of Navin, whose lands and sacred forests have been largely annexed by the Kingdom of Hasos. While we do not support Hasos as a ruling power, we believe cultural preservation must extend to all peoples. We continue to offer Hasodian products with care, focusing on their cultural value rather than political alignment. Our work reflects Soseunguk’s longstanding commitment to cultural resilience, dialogue, and representation across borders.
