According to legend, there is a Hevapol known as Sha’ar who guards a cave with treasures of immense value and shipwrecks that have been missing for centuries. Those who dare to go after her will be warned by her enchanting voice and her distinct scent. When at sea seeking her tressures, when the sky gets dark and her distinct scent starts to appear… turn your ship around, it’s for the better. Sha’ar, also known as the Gray Hevapol of the Hevanito Sea, is as her name says, a Gray Hevapol. Gray Hevapols are banished from the Hevanito Sea, which is the territory of the “normal” Hevapols, also known as the Hevani Hevapols. Centuries ago, when the Gray Hevapols were still invading the Hevani territory, there was a Hevani known as Sha’ar who lived. Sha’ar was a typical Gray Hevapol and loved to spread havoc. When an agreement was made where the Gray Hevapols were pushed to the northern sea and outer regions away from the Hevani lands, Sha’ar didn’t leave, but rather, she made a pact with the Hevani people to keep sailors away. Although… there’s always a catch. Sha’ar became obsessed with her gold and treasures, all stolen from the boats she sank. Rather than keeping sailors away, she only went after those who sought her tressures, turning her into some sort of an evil witch. It is said that she feasts on Hevanis who get too close to her tressures, making her a threat not only to surface dwellers but even to Hevanis themselves. The story of Sha’ar is considered to be an urban legend to those from Pyron, but still, many cases have reported going out to find her treasures, only to be greeted by a terrible storm and her distinct scent. At SDCHG, the candle that we sell is the scent of an old traditional tea named after the Gray Hevapol which is served in the Hevapol States, Sha’ar.
Ingredients and background
Ingredients found on earth used to make this candle: Eucalyptus, basil, lavender, rose and vanilla.
H̥uhanorh̥a
In Huharkarh, a ring below an h indicates inhaling an h, and no dot automatically indicates exhaling the sounds (like normal). This herb grows in the majority of northern Pyron, in Denedrad, the Hevapol States and Boslopyro. In Dinedrad, it bears the name of Qajodivoni, which is far simpler than saying H̥uhanorh̥a. This herb grows near most bodies of water and bears a smell comparable to Eucalyptus on Earth when crushed.
H̥adkan
H̥adkan is a flower. It looks beautiful when it blossoms, but unfortunately, it doesn’t taste as great once it blooms. This flower is usually harvested when it is still a bud to make Sha’ar tea. When the plant reaches adulthood fully, the petals can be harvested to turn into a fine powder that is used in many types of lotions for its hydrating features and great smell. It has a sweet, warm and flower-like scent.
