Hevapol

The Hevapol people live in the Hevanito region of the Pyronian continent, containing the nations of Braqulia, Veliaraumia, Tungripiri, Atacumia, Calbavumia, the Hevapol region of Dubrisiomia as well as all the surrounding water around these nations. The main territory of the Hevapols is in the Hahivahin Sea, and the Gray Hevapols reside in the Northern Ocean. Although many fear the Hevapols, their culture is heavily misunderstood and is often wrongly discussed. Although a third of the Hevapols live in the Hevapolian Sea, many do live on land. The Hevapols have a strong connection with the sea, even though they were originally Juwilits who migrated from the Alps to pursue a new lifestyle. It is really important to note that Hevapols migrated from the Alps around 7 thousand years ago, so, they are not within the Alps of Denedrad cultural family. This de-branching has been a recent project brought to the International Court of Iustitiat by the Hevapol states since there wasn’t a logical reason behind branching Hevapols as Juwicans. Hevapols are often depicted as fish-like beings, and although that is partially true, only a third of Hevapols look as such, and most of these fish-like Hevapols do not interact with the above-plains. Hevapols are almost like cousins to the Narwinians without being even remotely related, in the sense that there’s a ton of propaganda against them. Hevapols were segregated and hunted for hundreds of years, and it wasn’t until the kingdom of Veliaraumia stepped up and burned up the City State of Kuarkalos that the world realized what these people could do. The City State of Kuarkalos was an illegal occupation attempt by Denedrad to have access to the Hevanito Sea. The City State was known all around Pyron for hunting, cooking and serving Hevapols… yeah, it’s crazy, especially considering that Hevapols look like Juwilits, they don’t have tails, they just swim very fast and have gliders around their fingers and toes, they have gills which come and go depending if they are on the surface or underwater. The international court of Iustitiat signed a law that stated it was illegal to hunt Hevapols in the Hevanito region and the Northern Sea. One thing though… is that it doesn’t work the other way, Hevapols still hunt for Kiswa’ilis and Dinedrads. They have all rights to hunt Kiswa’ilis and Dinedrads, as long as they don’t hunt for the citizens of Denedrad City. It’s pretty weird considering what I have stated about how both kinds look the same, but they don’t hunt for surface dwellers that often, and the Hevapol states condemn the practice of hunting for them, the Hevapol states have no authority over the underwater Hevapol clans, especially not with the Gray Hevapols who do whatever they want. The Hevapol language, Huharkarh, is known to be a harsh language, often even seen as an “ugly” language. This language is mostly only spoken underwater and doesn’t have a writing system, and so, often the Dinedrad writing system is used to transcribe the language. The language is meant to be spoken underwater with more ease, and it truly sounds melodic underwater, it’s all due to how sound travels, and it is unjust to judge this language without listening to it the way it’s meant to be spoken. If the language doesn’t have a writing system, then what is found at at top of this page? Well, it is a script created by Pyronians to facilitate communication with Hevapols, so technically, moderately they do have a writing system, but it was not created by the Hevapols themselves.
